The PNC 2009 Annual Conference and TELearn 2009 Conference has successfully held form 6 to 8 October 2009 at Academia Sinica in Taipei

The 2009 Pacific Neighborhood Consortium (PNC) Annual Conference and Joint Meetings TELearn 2009 Conference (Technology Enhanced Learning) has successfully held from 6 to 8 October 2009 at Academia Sinica in Taipei. TELearn is an interdisciplinary conference of learning and technology that aims to develop issues about improving learning effect with technology and the main theme for this year’s conference is “Social Computing in e-Learning”. And also we have invited Prof. Chuen-Tsai Sun form National Chiao Tung University gave a speech on Joint Opening Speech , and an interesting topic: Game-Native Teacher’s Attitude toward Digital Gaming in School.

The session format of the TELearn 2009 consists of oral presentation and poster, the attendance and paper submissions have been highly enthusiastic. TELearn 2009 has successfully attracted over 91 submissions, from 4 continents, 11 countries and including 18 full papers, and the acceptance rate of full paper is less than 20%. The selected papers will be invited for submission to a special issue of ET&S(SSCI) and KM&TL. Besides, there were also enthusiastic participation in poster session which accepted 32 submissions. The poster competition held on Oct 8th was a great success.The end of closing ceremony, it is to announced that winners of poster competition are teams of University of Hong Kong、Hiroshima University and National University of Taiwan .
